While February weather changes in all kinds of varing degrees outside, inside at Sand Creek we are definitely focusing on spring and all things sunny and bright. The joy of anticipating another new spring season makes us all anxious to get outside and enjoy the weather again.

Old porch posts again in use this time cut down as pedestals for birds, candles and anything else.





A newly painted caned back hostess chair in "Linen White" by Benjamin Moore gets a fresh new look with cream, brown and tan fabric

Just as I was getting ready to do another chair just like the one of the left, a customer called me to see if I could paint the other chair for her in distressed "Black Satin". The black and cream fabric is called "Pensmanship".

This is another "door" project using old oak trim around the edges of the tabletop, two old spindle legs, and a portion that I cut from an old porch post for added shabbiness. Two custom pieces of mirror were cut to add to the inside panels of the door.

A vintage fancy wood frame from the early 1900's frames a front cover of the Saturday Evening Post magazine.

Found a bench in a antique store which I repainted "Linen White" and added new fabric.
