A corner desk is a rare find. This one was given to me by my dear friend Anglea, who happens to be also a rare find in a friend! The desk was painted green but I choose not to distress it. Adding a new glass knob gives this desk a nice elegant look. The white chair was painted and new floral Waverly print fabric was added for the seat. A pretty new green contemporary shade was also added to this not so old lamp.

Whenever I find the French Provincial furniture, I try to buy them when I can. This sweet little four drawer end table/dresser was a great find. I even kept the old hardware. I had a particular customer in mind because she also likes the F.P. look. I knew she liked black so black paint it was. It now sits in her home.

I also work on furniture for customers when they bring in a piece for me to paint. In this case, the dresser with cupboard door was quite old and had been in the family. The customer wanted to give it to her daughter as a keepsake but just wanted a fresh new look. So we opted for white paint and a distressed look. We kept the same hardware. I love this one.

Another small dresser "waterfall blue" that got painted and this time I had stamped a big leaf onto the square and then painted the wood knobs black. "leaves falling every day remind us of nature's changing ways". My own quote hand written on the drawer.
