Clocks

Clocks are a favorite at Sand Creek, both new and antique ones. Even clocks that are not working anymore can be fun to display in the home. I found a couple of Baby Ben alarm clocks that no longer work. They are cute little clocks and they can be set in a nursery...just set the clock time to when the baby was born as a sweet remembrance. Same can be done with a wedding time for the newly wed couple. Dismantle the clock face and re -use for a new project. I even found clock face knobs!
The clock shown in the photo is a new one but has that old look to it. I love the clock face with the map, I paired the clock with a small size world globe on a wood tray with a world map inlay. Maps are also popular. Especially the older ones, if you can find them. My niece, while she was in Cambodia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, found an old map of Asia in my store and when she spotted Cambodia on the map she knew she wanted it to display in her new apartment.
